The Asian Development Bank — ADB — or Asian Development Bank is a financial institution, founded in 1966, dedicated to financing proposals aimed at the development of initiatives and projects in Asia and the Pacific.
In the development of their projects, they not only provide financial and economic support to companies and governments, but also provide technical resources and human capital to national governments and entities in the region. All of this with the aim of promoting sustainable and inclusive development in Asia and the Pacific.
With the aim that the resources provided by the Asian Development Bank do not end up in entities with adverse practices, the Asian Bank issues a list of blacklisted entities.
This sanctions list is composed of entities or individuals related to corrupt, fraudulent, coercive, collusive or obstructive practices.
