The African Development Bank — AfDB — or African Development Bank, founded in 1964, is an international financial institution focused on driving economic and social development in Africa.

In the development of their projects, they not only provide financial and economic support to companies and governments, but also provide technical resources and human capital to national governments and entities within the region. All with the aim of promoting sustainable and inclusive development on the African continent.

With the aim that the resources provided by the African Development Bank do not flow to entities with adverse practices, it issues a list of banned entities.

This sanctions list is composed of entities or individuals related to corrupt, fraudulent, coercive, collusive, or obstructive practices.
