OFSI

The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) — OFSI — or the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation was established in 2016, as an entity under the Treasury department. Its main goal is the implementation and application of the UK sanctions system .

Among the objectives of OFSI are:

• detecting and responding to breaches of financial sanctions,
• raising awareness about the importance of financial countermeasures and their correct implementation,
• providing advice on financial sanctions
